Rega, Moon and Quadraspire to increase prices

Following Naim Audio and Linn’s price rise announcements this month, several more manufacturers are being forced to increase prices in the face of escalating costs of production. We will see rises in January from Rega, MOON and Quadraspire and from 6th January all Naim Audio servicing, repair and DR upgrades.
New Naim Service, Repair and DR Upgrade Prices

Alongside the new product pricing from Naim Audio, there will also be revised pricing for Naim DR Upgrades, Services and Repairs from 6th January 2022.
It is Naim’s first Service and Repair price adjustment since 2019 and customers will now be able to opt for a Service or a Repair – or both together – depending on requirements.
Linn Price Increase 1st January

We knew it was coming and now we have the full details of Linn’s forthcoming price rise. The average increase is around 14%, some products quite a bit more and as expected, newer products such Radikal 2, Ekstatik and Klimax Organik DSM will not change. The price of a Majik LP12 too is held at £3450 but every other LP12, component and upgrade is rising.
TIDAL Connect now on Naim Mu-so

Naim has added more listening options to it’s Mu-so 2nd Generation wireless speakers – Mu-so and Mu-so Qb – with a free software update enabling TIDAL Connect, Firmware 4.3.
Naim Firmware 3.8 update for Uniti and ND streamers

Naim Audio today release Firmware 3.8, which offers a range of improvements and minor bug fixes for the Naim Uniti range – Atom, Star and Nova – as well as network music players ND5 XS2, NDX2 and ND555.
It also fully prepares these products for the upcoming change in TIDAL authentication – so is an essential upgrade for anyone streaming TIDAL.
