Rega’s Nd cartridge range emerged in 2024, with three models – Nd3, Nd5 and Nd7; now top-of-the-range Nd9 completes the both the Nd series and an incredibly successful year for Rega Research.
Nd9 is the highest-performing moving magnet cartridge Rega has ever produced. Based on Rega’s Aphelion 2 cart, Nd9 uses a Boron rod cantilever and Fine Line stylus profile – a design usually reserved for higher end moving coil cartridges. The Boron cantilever offers exceptional stiffness and low mass, enabling ultra-fast response and outstanding playback accuracy, while the advanced fine line nude diamond profile extracts maximum musical detail from vinyl.
Nd9 is available as a standalone cartridge (£695) or factory-fitted on Rega Planar 8 turntable (£2554, saving £111).
