We’re super excited to introduce a new brand to Adventures in Hifi; one that is creating quite a buzz in the audio world – Eversolo Audio.
A new name, but backed by significant pedigree. Eversolo is a sub-brand of Zidoo Technology, a powerhouse in high-end 4K/8K home cinema media players. Utilising Zidoo’s software engineering expertise and manufacturing power, Eversolo is fast disrupting the market in digital streaming – producing superb 2-channel performance at a much more mainstream price point. Which is of course great news for listeners!
Components look and feel prestigious, build quality is excellent and software is flawless. The range encompasses streaming, CD playback, storage, control and amplification, with some unique, and very clever, attributes.
Lightning fast app
The Eversolo control app is one of the best we’ve encountered, and undoubtedly the fastest. Capitalising on its parent company’s software engineering expertise, this app is a joy to use. There’s none of the lagginess of other manufacturer apps; it just works.
CD playback, ripping and storage
Eversolo products like DMP-A8 Master Edition have a built-in, top-loading CD drive designed for quiet, stable playback and lossless CD ripping. CDs can be ripped onto a connected USB drive for future playback, or directly onto optional, internal SSD drives (up to 8TB), housed within the unit, behind a discreet, removable panel in the base.
Fully fledged network player, USB input + Automatic Library Scraping
Eversolo streamers are specifically engineered to seamlessly access, index, and stream hi-res music libraries stored on NAS drives and local home servers, or connected via USB port, with some of the most robust and stable network file management capabilities on the market. The Eversolo Music Library system will automatically scan connected drives, pull the metadata, categorise tracks by artist/album and download album artwork to the display. It reads all major audiophile formats including FLAC, WAV, AIFF, DSF, DFF and DSD master files.

Proprietary EOS (Eversolo Original Sampling-rate) audio engine
Standard Android forces all audio to downsample to 48kHz. Eversolo completely bypass this, allowing streamers to output bit-perfect audio natively across all apps (like Apple Music and Tidal).
