Inevitable advice from Linn this week:
“Earlier-generation Linn DS/DSMs going back to 2007 were designed around our first-generation processing platform, which has considerably less memory and processing headroom than our current range of products. As our software continues to evolve, some new features require resources that these earlier products cannot reliably support.
As a result, you and your customers should expect new feature additions to be solely focused on newer-generation Linn products starting with the first Selekt DSM in 2018. Legacy DSMs will continue to receive Davaar maintenance updates, including stability and reliability improvements, ensuring that their existing functionality continues to perform as intended.
