System One – a complete Rega Hi-fi for £999

Unveiled at the Bristol Hi-Fi Show last weekend, Rega Research this month launches System One, a complete turntable system for £999. System One is:

• Planar 1
• IO integrated amplifier
• Kyte bookshelf speakers
• Mini remote and 2 x 3m speaker cable

Everything you need to get started with (or return to) vinyl, in one box.

Rega’s Planar 1, launched in 2016, is the perfect starter turntable. Plug and play straight from the box, and fitted with Rega’s RB 110 tonearm and Carbon moving magnet cartridge, you won’t find a turntable as good as this anywhere for £250.

The IO integrated amplifier is brand new, a smaller version of the cracking Brio (half a Brio you might say) with internal MM phono stage, two additional line inputs and a front panel headphone socket. It will retail at £379.

Also brand new, Kyte bookshelf loudspeakers are a re-design of a Rega classic from the early 90s. Smart, modern design, easy to drive and compact, these will be £429 on their own. Throw in the speaker cables and the System One is complete.
