TIDAL Connect now on Naim Mu-so

11 December 2021

Naim has added more listening options to it’s Mu-so 2nd Generation wireless speakers – Mu-so and Mu-so Qb – with a free software update enabling TIDAL Connect, Firmware 4.3.

TIDAL Connect allows you to explore all the rich features of the TIDAL App and stream direct to your Mu-so. You can continue to enjoy core TIDAL streaming functionality via the Naim App, if you prefer.

The Firmware 4.3 update for Mu-so 2nd Generation, Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation, Mu-so Wood Edition and Mu-so for Bentley Special Edition was released on 9th December, appears automatically in the Naim App and is quick and easy to install.

PLEASE NOTE THIS MAJOR UPDATE REQUIRES THE MU-SO TO BE POWER CYCLED AFTER IT IS COMPLETE.

Once the Status LED has returned to its standard white light after the update, unplug the Mu-so for 30 seconds then reconnect.

It follows an earlier update for Naim Uniti players and dedicated streamers; the brand’s entire current music-stream range now supports TIDAL Connect.

TIDAL Connect is available to all subscribers to the streaming service; a 90-day free trial is available for new users when they buy any of the current Naim streaming family.
